For franchise head offices and partners

Franchise software for head office, partners and locations

Head office writes a new standard, sends it by email or to the WhatsApp group – and weeks later nobody knows exactly who has read it. Partners run their own businesses with their own staff and their own tools. In between sit manual PDFs, spreadsheets and follow-up phone calls.

Symiko is one app for the whole network: head office sets the standard, partners put it into practice at their location, and the team works with it every day. Each role sees what belongs to its job – and nothing more.

What Symiko does for your franchise network

A manual that actually arrives

Your manual lives in the app in chapters with search, images and videos, versioned and printable. Every chapter is acknowledged with its version number and a timestamp. Mandatory updates from head office get a “Read & understood”, and you see the read status per location. We import your existing content from PDFs, text files or your wiki during setup.

Rollouts, tasks and store checks

Plan new products, campaigns or refits once as a template and launch them at every location – steps, deadlines and status per location in one overview. Distribute tasks with deadlines and repeats. Store checks with scores and knock-out criteria are filled in on site on a phone; follow-up actions are tracked.

Early warning and cockpit

The early warning shows what is about to slip: missing monthly P&L, unread chapters, expiring certificates, overdue steps. The cockpit puts revenue, cost of goods and staff cost ratio for all locations side by side. Franchise and marketing fees are calculated from contract and revenue; the partner file keeps contracts, terms and deadlines.

Head office and partners stay separate

In franchising, the partner is the employer, not head office. That is why only the respective employer sees personnel files and pay; on staff matters head office only sees numbers per location – no names, no files. Permissions are enforced in the database, not just in the interface, and every franchise system is its own tenant. Accounts are only created through invitation links.

Daily work at the location in the same app

Rota, time clock, HACCP records, checklists, academy and work chat run in the same app as head office’s standards. Orders go to head office’s suppliers, in-store screens are managed from the app, and the newsletter reaches the whole network by email. Servers and documents are in the EU.

How you get started

You don’t have to roll everything out at once. Start where it hurts most and expand step by step.

  1. Get to know us: half an hour on screen. You tell us where it hurts, we show it right in Symiko.

  2. We set things up: locations, roles and logins. We bring over what you have, such as your manual or staff list.

  3. You start with one focus area and roll out the next modules once it is part of the daily routine.

Frequently asked questions

Which franchise systems is Symiko built for?

For networks with several locations, for example café and restaurant groups, bakeries, quick-service restaurants and retail. We look at which workflows fit you in the demo.

Can head office see the partners’ staff data?

No. Personnel files and pay belong to the employer at the location. Head office sees figures and alerts as a count per location, but no other employer’s personnel files. The database enforces this.

Can multi-unit partners run several locations?

Yes, with one login. Rotas, teams and records stay assigned to their location.

Do we have to retype our manual?

No. We import the content from PDFs, text files or your existing wiki and structure it into chapters. That is part of setup.

What does Symiko cost?

Billing is per location and month, not per employee. All core modules are included in the location price; you can add individual extra modules if you need them. Symiko can be cancelled monthly; we discuss the terms in the demo.

Your network. In one app.

We’ll show you Symiko in half an hour, using a chapter from your manual if you like. Then you decide.
